I have to say that the SXSW Official App for Android (can't speak for iOS) was invaluable in making my festival experience a roaring success. No tapping through webpages to find events, no separate calendars to create a schedule, no rummaging through paper programs to get show info. It's all in one app - just mark your events and get to it, do it! This is how a contemporary festival experience should be!
