Will miss the char sui pork this year

This year (to many of my family member's disappointment) I'm not cooking my usual holiday char sui pork along with my turkey. This year will be a nice beef rib roast (which I might add is significantly more expensive). But even I am going to miss those tender marinated slabs of pork with crackling sweet glaze emblazoned on the outside, so here is my recipe from a few years back.
