I had this strange dream that I was on vacation with Will Farrel. We were either brothers or good friends and staying at this resort that was part mountain cabin and part beach motel. the reason for this hybrid feel was that the resort overlooked a beach that seemed like it was surrounded by glacial lakes. The beach water itself was enclosed by a peninsula with a single outlet where the water connected to open ocean. We could see all this because the path to the beach from the resort was a winding wooden terrace high above where you could overlook the beach as a beautiful vista. So Will and I decided to head down for a swim from our room (we had other family members there but we decided to go ahead of the group). While we're walking along the terrace we look down and see all these people, looking like ants, swimming in the water and having fun. But then we spot the shadow of a big shark drifting in a distant area. Then we spotted another smaller shark swimming near a group of kids. Regardless we decide to head for the beach but didn't say anything as to avoid to create a panic amongst all the beach goers. For some reason I wasn't changed yet and found my extra pair of bathing trunks in a box near the beach and when we got to the water, will and I carefully searched for any sign of the shark. I remember wanting to borrow some goggles to scan the water but then the details of the dream after that got sketchy.
I think I ended up reporting the sharks and Will got angry at me for ruining the fun so we split ways and I ended up in the yard fo the resort looking for a pool to swim in. Supposedly, by the pool, was sitting my dad but instead of my real Asian dad this man was white with a beard (remember this is a dream). After a few words with him tried to get back to my room but the getting lost just got me back to the terrace where I could see the beach and no one in the water (since there was a shark warning). I couldn't see any sharks as well and then out of the corner of my eye, I spied Will swimming solo while wearing a some kind of theme-park animal suit (perhaps it was a penguin suit). I yelled at him to get out of the water and there were other resort patrons on the terrace looking at the spectacle. And then I noticed the sharks emerge from hiding, their shadows suddenly appearing from the dark curls of seaweed. I screamed for Will to get out but I was too far for him to hear me. I ran down the terrace occasionally looking over the rail to see if he was still alive. The sharks noticed Will (in his penguin suit) and began chasing after him - of coarse Will is completely oblivious to the presence of the sharks. Panic sets in and race down to the waters holding hope that I wouldn't see a red mess of torn clothing. I finally reached the water's edge and to my relief saw Will doing a backstroke while waving to me. I reached down and screamed out that there were sharks in the water and Will floundered into a panic. The splashing and desperation were doing more to attract the sharks so I yelled at him to swim faster towards me. I either saw the shark fins cutting the surface of the water or I imagined the impending danger but both ways I knew things were looking bad. But before "bad" could happen I managed to pull Will out of the water and even then I wanted to get away from the beach in fear one of those sharks decided to jump out and drag us back in.
The End.
Sam
