So last week my brother in law was nice enough to treat me and my wife to Frenchy's Bistro in Long Beach - a hidden gem of a French restaurant in an unlikely neighborhood. My last experience was my 1st taste of foie gras which I enjoyed very much - too much as the portion was larger than I thought. This time we started out with bread and a sliced meat tray with types of salami, a liver pate of sorts, prosciutto parma (like ham), and traditional prosciutto which was probably the best with the pate coming in 2nd. The bread was accompanied by a green aoli that had garlic and anchovy blended in. Very tasty.
