Got stuck with Jury Duty but the court house has some nice views of Long Beach from the 6th floor. According to the rep if I get through this day without getting selected on a panel, I'll be done for the rest of the week - for the rest of the year for that matter. I think they called it "One Day One Serve" or something. We'll see. Cafeteria looks pretty skimpy. Cashier kind of sings as he counts the change you get back. I ended up tipping him over a dollar for a pack of Certs and a bottle of water. I don't know why. An impulse I guess - he was the only one smiling as he served a line of people that didn't want to be there, here for Jury Duty that is.
