Lesson learned, do not order poke donburi at a really Japanese restaurant - the Japanese chef perceives poke as some variation of chirashi zushi, so the tuna is cured mainly with vinegar & not soy/salt, (limu) seaweed is missing as well as fragrant sesame oil. And the rice is seasoned sushi rice. At the risk of alienating many Japanese & my mom, I'm just not the biggest fan of vinegary chirashi *collective gasps! #skyguy76ig
