Turkey is in the brine 1 week before Thanksgiving but disaster already struck as the bag containing the turkey, the back up bag, AND the cooler leaked potentially dangerous raw juice all over. Clean up and careful raw meat handling are a major responsibility that goes with cooking. Luckily most of the brine is intact - tasted a boiled test cup of brine to make sure the melted ice didn't dilute it. All a part of the pains of doing it right! #skyguy76ig
