How much is a taco worth?

Today I'm supporting the local color. The new guys in town City Taco off Long Beach Blvd. They replaced Bistro Buchee which was a gourmet burger joint. I wanted to try that place but the location just doesn't call for gourmet and I'm afraid City Taco might not be the most practical taco around. Don't get me wrong, the tacos are great and comparable to Chronic Tacos which I like. I like these tacos better than Super Mex which seems to be a local favorite (my wife likes Super Mex). The hard shells here are nice and thick, the meat is decent. Fries are great, soft fish taco is nice and savory. Rice is a little too salty. Over all a great eatery but at $10 plate for 3 tacos and 2 sides I don't know how that stacks against surrounding places that offer cheaper less quality fair. Belmount Shores and Pine are good places for this kind food and prices but here on LB Blvd it's a hard sell for
locals. I wish them the best and I'll be back if they maintain the quality.
