THE TERROR - A decent horror story of the crew of the HMS Terror that is frozen in ice while on an Arctic expedition. Not only do they struggle to survive the harsh climate and dwindling supplies, there is a mysterious monster that is picking off the crew members one by one. While the monster story is somewhat weak in its totality it does offer a push to what would otherwise be a long drawn out survival story. But the historical details in what the crew ate, how they dressed, and the way they interacted is what makes this a fascinating read.
