Lately I've been obsessed with getting the Canon EOS 5D Mark II (just short of prepaying $3500 for the thing). For those that aren't in the loop, it's the 1st DSLR to shoot HD 1080p video - so the part I'm intrigued by is the shooting HD with the nice selection of Canon EF lenses... and I've been considering buying an SLR for awhile. I can be one of those guys that collects expensive lenses - supposedly Tokyo, Japan is a good place to look for bargains on cameras and lenses. But alas, the fricken camera is hard to find... and it's fracking expensive. And the economy sucks... but I want it bad!
