Daddy Mac Will Make Ya - Jump!

Did I mention I'm a total Mac fan-boy now - well sort of. In recent months, maybe not so recent now, I started updating my hardware with a 15" Macbook Pro and then followed that with a Quadcore Mac Pro with a cinema display. This replaces my Toshiba laptop and HP workstation. Of coarse for the most part I run Windows Vista 64bit which I'm also a big fan of despite overwhelming criticism of the OS. I do use Mac OS X as much as I can but it mainly amounts to Internet browsing. And then there's my HP tx2500 tablet which replaces my Acer tablet. The HP tablet runs Vista 64 (no more 32bit for me) with an AMD processor which I've never been a fan of. Understandably the HP doesn't hold a candle to my Mac hardware and that's because I paid a premium because Apple is too cool to price things like the frugal PC. And price was a major reason why I stayed away from Mac for a long time but now that Mac hardware can run both worlds, it softened the price tag although there's no doubt Apple is overpriced (there was an article on Engadget that backed this fact). But who doesn't like Apple's sleek Pro line look with its brushed aluminum finish and minimalistic styling. It feels good - until it comes time for the next refresh... better start saving money now.
