Legend Am I?

Saw I Am Legend with Wil Smith the other day. Here comes the common phrase, "it's been awhile since I last saw a movie in a theater." It was a decent action flick with plenty of special effects to warrant watching it in IMAX which how I saw it - the $15 admission was hard to swallow. The story really lacked and the ending pretty much voided the whole time spent watching Will Smith finding a cure. Like most zombie movies the backstory and even screen story of the night walking vamps was glossed over. They tried to infuse a little character/intelligence into the villains and it worked to motivate action but not much else. I still think Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead is still the best of the modern zombie movies - the right mix of sentimentlit and, stylization.
